They say some love stories are written long before the couple ever realize it; ours just happens to be one of them.
Our fathers grew up together in the same neighbourhood and stayed close over the years. Naturally, that made us family… or so we thought. Growing up, everyone made us believe we were cousins, and we acted the part! We shared childhood memories, endless teasing, and an unbreakable friendship that lasted through the years.
But as time passed, we discovered something surprising — we weren’t actually cousins after all! 😂
Somewhere between laughter, old memories, and deep conversations, our friendship began to blossom into something even more special. What started as a “family bond” grew into a connection built on faith, trust, and genuine love.
Today, we look back and smile — knowing that Allah ﷻ had written this story perfectly from the start. From “childhood cousins” to soulmates, we couldn’t be more grateful to be walking into forever, hand in hand, with Almighty Allah’s guidance. 🤍
